Dysport is a nonsurgical wrinkle treatment that softens dynamic wrinkles and lines on the face, like frown lines between the eyes. Like other wrinkle relaxer injectable brands, Dysport utilizes a purified form of botulinum toxin type A in order to temporarily soften or block signals to particular muscle groups in the face. As soon as these areas are treated, the regular movements that cause dynamic wrinkles will be halted, allowing the skin attached to the muscle to soften. This enables you to freely make expressions like smiling and frowning for as long as you want without leading to wrinkles and fine lines. It also delivers refreshed results that don't "freeze" your face. How Does Dysport Work?
Dysport injections are performed in a procedure room following your initial consultation, which is typically completed within a few minutes. A numbing agent is not typically needed since Dysport is administered with a fine-gauge needle that creates minimal pain, but it can be provided upon request. Once the treatment area has been sanitized, a handful of injections will be made across the forehead region, followed by a cold compress to lessen bruising and inflammation. After your injections at Body+Beauty Lab in Radnor, you can resume your regular routine, but you should plan to stay away from taxing activities for at least 24 hours.
