How Is CoolSculpting Performed?
After your initial consultation to design your CoolSculpting treatment plan, your appointments will be scheduled. During your appointment, the CoolSculpting handpiece and a special gel pad will be used on the pre-selected area, and cryolipolysis will begin. The cooling technology, delivered by the applicator, will begin to target and freeze the fat cells. You will likely experience coolness while receiving treatment, but this should not cause any pain. As the CoolSculpting applicator uses suction to move the fat cells into the area to be treated, you can expect to feel a minor pulling or pinching, but these sensations will be minor.
